David Taxer
Founder, Trusted Cyber Partners In Practice
David Taxer’s multi-decade career includes a wide variety of advanced training and practice in penetration testing, OSINT, web development, SEO, PPC, project management, business development, and DFIR.
Before founding Trusted Cyber Partners In Practice, he founded a highly successful SEO-driven national insurance brokerage. To do this, he taught himself SEO and PPC and created nearly 40,000 internet leads, which grew his sole proprietorship into a thriving call center placing over $120,000,000 in premiums over seven years.
This success inevitably led to a life-changing security incident. His firsthand experience gives him insight into the insider threat perspective of cybersecurity, the depth of social engineering employed by threat actors, and his passion for preventing others from experiencing the effects of fraud.
His cybersecurity and investigative accomplishments include identifying misconduct involving the misuse of personal data by several licensed agents, which led to the discovery of a decade-long remote IT phone scam as well as unsecured search engine indexed insurance applications containing HIPAA-regulated data on a website belonging to a national carrier, which he reported pro gratis.
Mr. Taxer’s experience creates a significant advantage in organizing and deploying client penetration tests. He can advise on risk management and actively support risk prevention and mitigation. He is an active member of Trace labs, an organization that manages online searches for data on missing person cold cases, and is also highly active on TryHackMe.com. He is also a regular participant at the annual SANS OSINT Summit and maintains his knowledge of open-source, social media, and blockchain investigations by participating in these organizations’ activities.
Before founding Trusted Cyber Partners In Practice, Mr. Taxer made a deliberate decision to establish his next business even more firmly under the guiding principle of the Golden Rule.
When you do business with David Taxer, you are doing business with a man committed to ethics, discretion, creative problem-solving, productive communication, professionalism, and a competitive drive to succeed in finding solutions to your problems.
Outside of his work operating TCPIP, his interests include his family, STEM, game theory, behavioral modeling, search engine optimization, political science, evolutionary psychology, and programming, all of which give him the ability to ensure your digital security and investigations are successful.
